Thomas Maloney
Thomas Maloney was born in Kent in 1979, grew up in London, and studied physics at Oxford University. His first novel, The Sacred Combe, was published in 2016 and longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize in 2017. His second novel, Learning to Die, was published in 2018. He has written for The Guardian, the Irish Times and Aeon, and his story Paperchase was chosen by the editor of The Moth magazine as one of her all-time favourites. He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and two children.
