‘Motherland’ shortlisted

Andre Simon Food & Drink Awards

Last week Charlotte Betts’s latest historical novel THE LOST DAUGHTER OF VENICE was published by Piatkus.  Set in Venice in 1919, it tells the story of a widow who inherits a deceased aunt’s neglected palazzo and discovers all the family secrets behind its walls.

The week has started with the fantastic news that Melissa Thompson’s book MOTHERLAND has been shortlisted for the prestigious Andre Simon Book Awards 2022.  The results are announced at the end of March 2023.

Heather is off to Village Books in Dulwich on Tuesday evening to hear Dr Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed interview Dr Rupy Aujla about his new book DR RUPY COOKS and talk all things gut health.
