 Novelist Emma Burstall is out in New York, launching her latest book ROCKAWAY BEACH in the place where the novel is set.

There have been a couple of mentions of Saliha Mahmood Ahmed’s THE KITCHEN PRESCRIPTION in the press – with a feature in the BMJ and an article written by Saliha on The unbeatable health benefits of beetroot (telegraph.co.uk)

The Guild of Food Writers have announced their 2023 shortlist for the prestigious awards and we are delighted to see two of our books nominated - Eleanor Ford’s NUTMEG TRAIL and TASTE TIBET written by Julie Kleeman and Yeshi Jampa. You can see full shortlist here.

On broadcast

Sophie Grigson has just finished filming the second series of SLICE OF ITALY in Puglia.  It’s in the schedule for transmission in the Autumn on The Food Network.

 And in more foody small-screen news, Rosemary Shrager is back in the kitchen on primetime telly in COOKING WITH THE STARS and for this new series she is mentoring Peter Andre on ITV – catch her on Tuesdays at 9pm.   

Melissa Thompson has been recording two more episodes of R4’s THE KITCHEN CABINET in Billericay and Masham which will go out later in the summer.

 For summer reading suggestions, Rachel Trethewey’s THE CHURCHILL GIRLS is recently out in paperback and Charlotte Betts’s THE LOST DAUGHTER OF VENICE is out next week.
