Isla Whitcroft

Isla Whicroft

Isla Whitcroft has been a journalist for more than twenty years. She went to Fleet Street in 1991 and worked on The Sunday Express and then on Today, before setting up a women's news magazine in Sydney. Isla is now a freelance health specialist and writes for the Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Mirror and the Sun.

Isla's fast-paced, tense and original debut series for children, THE CATE CARLISLE FILES, begins with TRAPPED, which was published by Piccadilly Press in Summer 2011 and closely followed by DEEP WATER in Autumn 2011. VIPER'S NEST will continue the escapades of feisty, spirited Cate Carlisle in 2012.

Isla lives in Northamptonshire with her husband and their three sons.
