Valentina Harris
Valentina Harris grew up in Tuscany, has written authoritatively on many aspects of Italian food and appeared on television regularly since her first BBC television series, Italian Regional Cookery, in 1990. Her titles include VALENTINA HARRIS'S COMPLETE ITALIAN COOKERY COURSE (BBC Books), RISOTTO! RISOTTO! and, more recently, SLOW, both published by Octopus Publishing. Valentina’s major series on regional ITALIAN cookery will be published by Anness Publishing in 2009, as will PASTA GALORE (Octopus). She is now writing a fascinating memoir about her Italian family and a 'life in food'.
Without doubt the ‘the Queen of Italian Cookery’, Valentina lives and works in London as a consultant, teaches at La Cucina Caldesi in Marylebone, London and runs her own cookery courses in different parts of Italy.
