Tanith Carey

Tanith Carey

Tanith Carey is a high-flying national newspaper journalist who spent ten years at the Daily Mirror where her positions included Features Editor, Woman’s Editor and US Correspondent, based in New York. Tanith is also a former Consumer Journalist of the Year and was nominated for the UKPG ‘Scoop of the Year’ for her investigative journalism. Having completed her first book RUSSELL BRAND, described by Piers Morgan as ‘like its subject - hot, raunchy, revelatory and irresistible’ (published by Michael O’Mara Books in 2007). Tanith writes for a broad range of national newspapers and magazines including the Mail on Sunday, the Independent, Grazia and Now as well as being a regular contributor on consumer issues and parenting to the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror.

Tanith has had two books published in 2009 by Lion Hudson, A MOTHER'S LOVE, an anthology of prose about motherhood, and HOW TO BE AMAZING MUM - WHEN YOU JUST DON’T HAVE THE TIME. She is also writing NEVER KISS A MAN IN A CANOE - WORDS OF WISDOM FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF AGONY AUNTS for Boxtree which will be published in the autumn of 2009.

Tanith Carey lives in north London with her husband, journalist Anthony Harwood, and their two young daughters, Lily and Clio.
