Roy 'The Boy' Brindley is Europe’s most successful full-time tournament poker player. He has won 20 European ranking and televised tournaments and is Ladbrokes' sponsored professional poker player. Roy has written for Racing Post, Sportsman and Sporting Press newspapers and he commentates on SKY Sports and the Poker Channel, further cementing his status as one of the world’s hottest young players.

Transworld published Roy's remarkable memoir LIFE'S A GAMBLE in 2009, in which he broke many of the game’s strict codes of silence to reveal how he has taken the poker world by storm, as well as opening his heart to disclose an extraordinary life story that contrasts his current success with the crime and gambling addiction which once led him to the depths of despair.

Roy lives in County Wicklow, Ireland, with his partner Mags and their two young children, Sebastian and Elise.
