Tina Bricknell-Webb

Tina Bricknell-Webb ©Matt Austin

Tina Bricknell-Webb and her husband Tony downsized in 1999 from their Michelin-rated restaurant just outside London to the beautiful countryside of the Devon/Cornwall border near Okehampton. There they have created a beautiful organic estate, Coombeshead - which has supplied meat to the prestigious Kensington organic emporium Whole Foods Market - and a small hotel and restaurant, which have earned plaudits from visitors such as Nigel Slater – 'Tina serves only the most exceptional quality of ingredients' – and Giles Coren – ‘Percy’s is a very rare place indeed’.

From 2004-05, Tina wrote a weekly cookery column for Western Morning News, the West Country’s daily newspaper, and has also contributed to Devon Life. PERCY'S COOKBOOK, celebrating the wealth of Tina’s own seasonal produce but at the same time conscious of the ingredients available to city cooks, was published by Merlin Unwin Books and launched at Ludlow's famous Food Festival in September, 2009.
