Vatch Bhumichitr

Vatch Bhumichitr is probably Britain’s best-known Thai chef and restaurateur. He is the author of THE TASTE OF THAILAND (Pavilion), VATCH'S THAI KITCHEN (Ryland Peters & Small) and VATCH'S SOUTH-EAST ASIAN COOKBOOK, VATCH'S SOUTH-EAST ASIAN SALADS, VATCH'S THAI STREET FOOD, STYLISH THAI IN MINUTES, THE BIG BOOK OF THAI CURRIES and, most recently, THE BIG BOOK OF NOODLES, all published by Kyle Cathie.

Vatch splits his time between Cinnamon Beach Villas, his cookery school on the beautiful island of Koh Samui in Thailand, and Britain, where he retains an interest in a restaurant in London’s Maida Vale.
